Welcome to Just in Time Tech

Just in Time Tech is a blog that will offer snippets and tidbits related to Ed Tech. Websites and apps, especially the FREE Web 2.0 kind will be shared and connections to education will be made. On occasion there will be rantings and ravings intended to inspire my readers (this means YOU!) to respond.

It IS All About Me!

Why 'Just in Time Tech'? Because at the speed at which we are bombarded with apps & integration ideas & ed tech issues I feel that it's vital that we stop (my Tech Motto is 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle') & digest all this information. This blog will help me to make sense of all that is happening. And if, on occasion, I wander from my focus that's O.K. because, after all, this IS 'life in perpetual beta'!

My name is Nancy Sharoff and currently I teach 2nd grade in New York. I also teach graduate level courses online in areas of Ed Tech, Cyberbullying, Math, and Children's Literature. I've presented at local, state, national, and virtual (Second Life) on a variety of topics, the latest (and my most recent passion) on Visual Literacy. I'm also proud to call myself a Google Certified Teacher and a STAR DEN Educator, as well as a DEN Guru in Visual Literacy.
